A Little Update!

It's been quite a while since my last blog post, so I thought I'd write a little update post to let you all know what I've been up to!

From September last year I have been busily working towards my Masters degree in Sound Design; something which has helped massively with my knowledge and confidence with the more technologically challenging side of composing. However, that's not all I have been up to!

Latest Release: Stargazer EP!

Some of my music is now readily available online for download or streaming, and in March I released my EP Stargazer. The EP features three of my personal favourite compositions, all remastered specifically for this release, and it has a very ambient, relaxed vibe. The EP can be downloaded from most online distributors: iTunes, Google Play, Amazon Music. It can even be bought directly from my website!

In addition to that it is also available to stream on Spotify! Yes, I have my very own artist profile on Spotify - and I would love it if you were to follow me!

Joining The Sound Architect Team!

Not one to rest on my laurels (!) I reached out to the super online audio blog The Sound Architect when I saw their recent call for volunteers, and I am now their Social Media Manager! In addition to regular social media posts I also handle their press releases, writing posts to notify our readers about key audio events, releases, and the like. I also hope to write reviews of game soundtracks once I have a bit more time on my hands (!!), but until then I'm really happy to be a part of this amazing bunch of volunteers who love everything audio as much as I do.

Being Selected as an Audio Mentee

I am very, very lucky to announce that I was selected to receive one-to-one mentoring from an industry professional, all thanks to the efforts and devotion of The Audio Mentoring Project!

I simply cannot thank them enough for deeming me worthy of such an amazing opportunity! Now I have been paired with my mentor, I have regular Skype calls with them; during these sessions I can ask them questions about the industry, request feedback on my work...

It really is one of the most invaluable experiences I could have been given so early in my professional development, and I am so grateful!

And so, that's about it for now! There is actually a lot more I have been working on...but I shall save that for another post ;)

Until then! Thank you as always for stopping by <3
